PAK vs ENG: Pakistan win toss, bat in second Multan Test

In the second Test match against England in Multan, Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and chose to bat. England leads the three-match series 1-0 after their significant victory in the first Test by an innings and 47 runs.

This defeat prompted significant changes in the Pakistan squad, with ace batsman Babar Azam being dropped alongside pace bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah. Spinner Abrar Ahmed was also ruled out due to illness. Making his debut is batsman Kamran Ghulam.

Pakistan is fielding a spin-heavy attack with Sajid Khan, Zahid Mahmood, and Noman Ali, supported by pace bowler Aamer Jamal.

On the England side, captain Ben Stokes returns from injury, and fast bowler Matthew Potts joins the squad, while Gus Atkinson and Chris Woakes are left out.

The final Test is scheduled to begin on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
